He would occasionally get up from the piano to say a few things to the audience. After nailing one of the tunes, he got up and said, "I just hope somebody has a tape machine- because you ain't gonna hear anything like that again."... or another time when he was introducing his youngest son who came out for the last few songs, he claimed, "I used to be a cowboy... you can tell by the way I play the piano."
Oh, and the drum solo in Take Five was easily the most incredible thing I have ever seen.
